About OVDRA
The Optometric Vision Development & Rehabilitation Association, also known as OVDRA, is a professional organization focused on advancing developmental and rehabilitative neuro-optometric vision care through education and board certification.
OVDRA supports professionals working across specialized areas of vision care, including:
- Developmental vision care
- Behavioral vision care
- Vision therapy
- Binocular vision
- Pediatric vision development
- Neuro-optometric rehabilitation
- Visual rehabilitation for children and adults
OVDRA's work is grounded in the principle that vision can be developed, strengthened, rehabilitated, and changed. Its educational programs and certification pathways help practitioners build the clinical knowledge needed to support patients whose visual function may affect learning, development, recovery, performance, and daily life.
