About NORA

The Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association, International, also known as NORA, is an interdisciplinary organization dedicated to advancing neuro-optometric rehabilitation and improving visual outcomes for patients with neurologic conditions.

Neuro-optometric rehabilitation is an individualized treatment approach for patients with visual deficits related to:

  • Concussion
  • Stroke
  • Traumatic brain injury
  • Physical disability
  • Neurological disease
  • Other acquired neurological conditions

NORA brings together optometrists, physicians, therapists, rehabilitation professionals, educators, students, and other allied health professionals who recognize the critical role vision can play in neurological recovery and daily function.
