A recent paper in JAMA discussing childhood illness, for example, highlights "sobering information on major increases in chronic health conditions" and concludes that "health and social welfare systems are unprepared for the rapid growth in demands that will arise from these epidemics."
What is causing all this affliction? This workshop explores toxic exposures and nutritional deficiencies as the underlying cause of many chronic diseases. This is a practical and clinically oriented workshop to assist health providers as they seek to investigate and address chronic physical and mental illness, and facilitate health and wellness.
