Our next conference holds a special place in our hearts, with the 50th anniversary conference from the American Academy of Environmental Medicine. In the early 1970's AAEM was the organizer of our first conference and we are just as excited to be with them now as we were then. AAEM's 50th Annual Scientific Meeting is sure to be one of it's best, focusing on neuroimmunotoxicology. The impact of the environment on health is a growing and troubling topic. The are just so many ways in which environmental toxins, toxicants, and drugs affect mankind, and the seem to affect primarily the nervous and immune systems. Each system modulates the other. When this altering bidirectional interaction is harmed by toxicants then inflamed as both systems dysregulate each other, it is called Neuroimmunotoxicity.
An A+ speaking faculty will illuminate your scientific mind and bring valuable treatment modalities to your physician's toolbox. For three days, such greats as Gerry Schwalfenberg, Jeffrey Smith, Nancy Klimas, Alan McDaniel, and David Quig will share decades of knowledge and experience in this growing field of Neuroimmunotoxicity.
Additionally, AAEM is hosting a post-conference workshop: Low-Dose, Enzyme Activated Immunotherapy. LDA immunotherapy is a remarkable treatment for allergy of all types and autoimmune disease. This includes asthma, hay fever, chronic rhinitis/sinusitis, severe eczema, urticaria, anaphylaxis to peanut and food and inhalant allergy of all types. It is also an effective treatment for many autoimmune illnesses. Most recently it has been found to be a dramatic treatment for Lyme disease. W. A Shrader, Ty Vincent, and Morgan Camp present this one day workshop.

Overlapping the Halloween holiday we have a conference in one of our under represented topics, optometry. We are excited to announce for the first time, DigiVision will be recording the International Conference on Light and Vision by the College of Syntonic Optometry. This event consists of several one day, pre-conference events plus a robust, two day general session. We know this spectacular content will make a valuable compliment to DigiVision's already massive library of COVD content.
DigiVision will be capturing two, one day workshops on vision therapy. As an optometrist you are likely already familiar with Vision Therapy and its powerful effects on vision and benefits for children with learning diffculties due to visual processing problems. But what you may not know is that by combining syntonics with vision therapy, visual performance can be improved in weeks, rather than months, as is typcial with traditional vision therapy. Geoff Shayler presents this Fast Track VT. The other pre-conference workshop is an Introduction to Iridology and Applications for VT by Peter Guhl and Bill Caradonna. The iris and iridology have some interesting properties that interface with what we do in syntonics. In this workshop you will learn some ways that you can look at the iris and analyze some of the information it offers to better understand and treat your patients. We will also be captuing the two day general sesison beginning on October 29th. Note: DigiVision will not be capturing Optometric Syntonic Phototherapy 101 taking place on the 27th and 28th.

DigiVision has been recording Age Management Medicine Group events since their first conference in 2006 and we are thrilled to continue to do so this fall for their 19th annual conference. The event will be filled with trending topics, emerging science, interactive panel discussions, challenging presentations and advanced clinical applications so you can add this leading specialty immediately to your existing practice—and learn how to become certified in age management medicine.
The first day offers three pre-conference tracks. The first on hormone modulation is a classic specialty for the AMMG faculty. Endocrine specialist titans such as Mark L. Gordon, Neal Rouzier, James Wilson, and Edwin Lee, will bring you up to speed whether this is your first hormone conference or if you've been practicing for years. The second track is a pragmatic presentation of advanced case studies in Age Management Medicine. The presenters show some of their more difficult cases and how they resolved them. Topics include HRT, cardiovascular health, genomics, prostate issues, libido, Lyme, telomeres, physical fitness, and lifestyle. To round it out, AMMG is rebooting their popular office-based aesthetics workshop. They will cover PRP, injectables, growth factors, hormones for skin, and many others.
The following three days are the acclaimed general session. With topics on aging specific disorders, molecular hydrogen, and nutritional evaluation protocols, plus half day sessions on cardiovascular health and precision medicine, this fall's AMMG general session will prove to be a spectacular event.
